    Hi,

Since the update, the events are not using the template of Elementor anymore. So now I miss our subscribing form and all styling! We use the template to add the form automatically to all events.

Here you see how it supposes to look: shorturl.at/EJMW8
And how it looks now: shorturl.at/oGHPV

I updated everything (also WP, themes, plugins) and re-installed themes, plugins etc etc. The problem is not with Elementor, because the blogpost template works correct.

    Can you fix this?
    Regards, Myra

Hi @sitesandsearch, sorry to hear about this. Although, I could not see the screenshots you shared, let’s see what we can do here.

We recently had this issue with Elementor where it doesn’t properly show the content of the page. For this to work, you’d need to do a template override, please follow the article here with the heading Main events page workaroundhttps://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/using-tribe_events-with-elementor/.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hi Abz,

I see my links for some reason don’t work.
I looked at the article, but the problem isn’t the main event page, but single events. Does your suggestion will help with this? If yes, where can I find the file which I need to override?

The problem is that I have made an Elementor template, and I selected ‘events’ to display, but the single events are not displayed in the template. So now I’m missing the subscription form (and sidebar).

this is how it looked like before: https://chambonewijnstijl.nl/portfolio/preview-event/ (don’t look at the url, I just made a picture to show it)

    And now: https://chambonewijnstijl.nl/activiteit/proef-zuid-afrika-novevember-2022-1/

Hi @sitesandsearch, thanks for sharing more information here. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end, let’s see.

Seems like your main event is showing correctly, this is perhaps another issue.

I’m curious, could you interchange the settings under Display → Default stylesheet used for events templates and Events template? Head over to Events → Settings → Display and try different settings for the page template.

See if that makes a difference and make sure that any template is not causing the issue.

    Hi Abz,

Thank you for your reply and taking the effort to help me. But I don’t think you are getting the issue, you are talking about something different.

I made an Elementor template which should work on the single events, but since the update to V6 it doesn’t work any more. (and of course I already tried the different settings).

Here to clarify some pictures; but I will contact Elementor support as well.

Wait, you know what, I stop using the Elementor template.
    We need to move on.
