I am trying to add an [events_list location=”X”] shortcode to one of my pages but it seems like the shortcode is not executed properly. Even if the location has a lot of events, the shortcode’s output is always the same and says: “No Events”.

Even after I updated Events Manager to the newest version I still have the same issue.

The shortcode works only when I use [events_list] and [events_list limit=”XX”] option, but it shows all upcoming events or limited number of events set with the “limit=”XX” parameter.
Narrowing shortcode results to a particular location does not work properly.
It does not work with any location.

It happens on my both installations of WordPress on separate domains.

I noticed that other users also have similar issues with this plugin when they try to narrow [events_list] shortcode to location=”X” or post_category parameters.

Here are some relevant support threads:

Could anyone help me on how to fix this plugin issue/bug ?

Which version of Events Manager are you using?

Thank you for your kind reply.
I am usuig the newest version of Events Manager 5.6.2 and dedicated WP FullCalendar plugin addon, also in the newest version.
I have installed WordPress 4.3.2 version.

I managed to fix the problem. Everything works fine now.
    Thank you for your concern.
    Have a nice day!

    How did you fix it?
    I’m having the same problem…

At the beginning I tended to input wrong location’s ID based on location’s WordPress post ID (showing up after you hover on a location’s edit button in WordPress dashboard under Events->Locations). That’s wrong!
An actual location’s ID is a number assigned by the plugin itself to the database. In my case WordPress’s post ID was 346 and the equivalent of Events Manager’s plugin ID assigned to the same post was 8. I couldn’t find a proper Events Manager ID for a particular location or any location at all in the dashboard, so I searched through the database using Adminer plugin.
However, a few days ago I noticed that you actually can turn on the Events Manager location’s ID in the WordPress dashboard by checking the proper check box in “Screen Options” settings in WordPress dashboard under Events->Locations. Just check the box “Location ID” to get the proper Events Manager’s location ID assigned by the plugin itself, not the WordPress post ID.
So in other words: WordPress’s post ID is not the same as Events Manager’s plugin ID.

I have been looking for a solution to display calender per location, did not get a reply on my previous comment for weeks and you provided the solution within an hour.
    Thank you so much bitpress!
