Ever After Theme formatting issues after WP 3.9 upgrade

Hello,

I have the latest wordpress 3.9 and I use the ever after theme. Since the update, I can no longer add media and then start a new paragraph of text below it. The text is showing next to it and if I hit the return button to get the cursor under the photo, there are that many empty spaces between the photo and the next paragraph in the preview. How do I change the formatting so it is how it was prior to the upgrade? Specificially, starting a new paragraph under a photo that is justified to the left? I hope this makes sense; please message me if it doesn’t. I could really use the help.
