• We have thousands of products and this plugin doesn’t appear to cope. Which is a shame because the more products you have the more you need a plugin like this. Every time I try to do a product export it hangs and I get an error message “connection to the server lost”.

  • Hi karljames67, use the Limit Volume and Volume Offset settings under Export Options for large volume exports.

    Your server is terminating the export process after a timeout or when all memory is consumed. I’m optimising the code and memory management with each Plugin update but when you have thousands of Products you’ll need to consider batch exports or increasing your memory and timeout limits.     Thanks Michael, I will have a look at the volume settings again. Currently my memory limit and timeout settings are 1024MB and 300s via the php.ini file

    Hi karljames67, that should be plenty of resources, I’d keep looking at the configuration side of your hosting server.

    Contact your hosting provider to explain what that error is, and whether your database is crashing (it might be happening) or whether the server is simply dropping the connection after a timeout, etc. Can you export using the Volume Limit and Volume Offset?
