every page duplicates itself in same screen. really.

  • I don’t know how long this has been going on, as I don’t usually scroll all the way to the bottom.

    If you look at the homepage you’ll see that everything looks okay. Scroll down to the bottom, you’ll find the footer. and then you’ll find a complete duplicate of what you just looked at.

    Am I missing a div somewhere? I’ve looked, but I’m not very comfortable with php (though I’m learning).

    This may or may not be related: an image that showed up in the sideboard with no problem is now showing a broken link. I checked the widget, and the url was correct. I moved the image to another widget, still no luck.

    I’m less worried about the image than I am about the doubled pages.

  • Same problem here on 2.2.1 with the pages duplicating on the same screen every time I make a change or save.

    This happens on the default template also

    I have disabled all plugins with the same result.

    Short of a full delete and re-install, I don’t know what else to try.

    Well, at least I’m not alone. I’m still hoping some expert will be able to tell us what to do.

    update: I turned off all plugins except Akismet, and I switched to the default template. For me at least the duplication problem is gone. Right now, it’s gone. I’m afraid to look again.

    This kind of thing is really discouraging. So many hours went into customizing the theme and getting plugins to work, and now I can’t use any of it.

    Sounds like problems with your plugins – disable them and try –

    AND if you are using old versions of wordpress, you should have upgraded ages ago.
