every update breaks product count in feed

Thanks for reaching out. Strange behaviour, this has never happened for our test websites, not did we hear this from other users.

The only thing that we can think of why this could be happening is when you update our plugin exactly when a feed is being processed.

We have certain products which show up in two different google product categories. We have mapped these products to two different categories on our store as well. Following the same we have mapped both products to different google categories as well in the feed. Based on the same the count differs with every update. The count as of now should be 1452 which is shown as 950 as of now with latest update. Every time a new update is pushed we face this issue.

Sorry i was not aware that i need to mark the topic as un-resolved earlier. Hence i have marked it as un-resolved now.

You can see the graph of products count automatically changing frequently although no product is being deleted from the store. not sure why this is happening.

Also for your reference the Manage screen in Product Feed pro shows the below number

It’s a bit hard for us to guess for the reasons your feed numbers are fluctuating as there can be many reasons, a few of those are related to how you have configured your feed. See for a couple of those causes here:

When none of those reasons are the cause it could also be caused by your WP-cron getting stuck or not processing all batches because, for example, it is running into a timing or memory issue. You could try experimenting with changing the batch sizes to see if it solves the issue at hand, see: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/
