• Hello!

    I am trying to update our website but every time I choose a link in wordpress admin (i.e plugins, settings, etc.) “This page doesn’t seem to exist.”

  • Do you have a plugin in use which changes the URL of the backend? Then I would recommend to delete this via FTP and to take out in the .htaccess file.

    If it is not, you could also deactivate all plugins as a test. Since this is not possible via the backend, you could rename the wp-content/plugins/ directory via FTP (e.g. to wp-content/plugins.backup/.). Does it work then? Then one of the plugins was to blame.

    I can’t access the plugins since it always says the page doesn’t seems to exist. Then I tried renaming the plugins folder in the CPanel but it still shows the same. I also tried changing the .htaccess to default (found a default one online) but still, shows the same error.

    Does the file plugins.php exist under wp-admin? Have a look via FTP. If not, then the installation is incomplete. If yes, then something on your hosting is blocking access to it.
