Everything is big… Is it theme related?

Hi and first of all many thanks for the plugin.
This is my very first project in WordPress so honestly I am very lost.My website for testing purposes has the “minimalist portfolio” theme applied (child theme from “hamilton”) https://probando.loloriazzo.com/
I have seen other sites where the plugin is applied in different ways like https://default.portfolio.bycolormelon.com/
As you can see, the fonts on my project are much bigger and the main page width is narrower.
As I said and as you can see, I am a newbie. Probably I prefer how the second one site looks.
Is this theme or plugin related? I guess it is theme related…
Which themes would you recommend for a similar looking to https://default.portfolio.bycolormelon.com/ ?

Unfortunately, I can’t view your website because it’s in maintenance mode. But as you already guessed, the font size is a theme issue, not a plugin issue.
For suggestions:
The second link you sent me is using the Twenty Seventeen theme (free)
Then there’s Minimalist (but I guess it’s not working out for you) – https://www.ads-software.com/themes/minimalist-portfolio/
And of course there are a couple of premium themes that are using the plugin (the portfolio plugin is built in these themes so you would not need to install it separately):
