I translated most of the pages so far…including the admin interface most of the front end and the documentation if anyone is interested let me know…or tell me where I can upload an English version.

Does anyone have an implemented example somewhere?

Maybe I missed something somewhere…but I am not seeing a front end interface for image uploading nor voting…? So I have been trying to set permissions for the default new user wp role to access only the Add Photo page in the dashboard, but that is not ideal and doesn’t explain why I can not see the voting stuff…help?

The configuration, the image gallery works great as does the Facebook app settings, twitter and google+ sharing.

About picture upload: this plugin is not done for public upload, only for public voting. pictures upload is only for admin.

Thanks for the additional info…

I will let you know if I resolve the public upload, as I really don’t want to have to do all of the uploading for my contests.

So, the voting thing…I uploaded a few images, but am not seeing the voting apparatus anywhere.

Do anyone have a live version up anywhere that I can look at?

Did you have right open and close dates in vote settings ?
Perhaps a confusion with english and french date format ?

I cleaned up the copy that ldidsbury emailed me a little more, with further translations. It can be downloaded from https://b1047.com/simple-photos-contest-ENG.zip I suggest that you look at all of the code, as he made a few code tweaks that I believe made your base code even stronger. Look at the facebook and wordpress user code in particular.

There does seem to be an issue after a vote has been cast, that sometimes causes the image to give a busy icon spin when you return to that image after voting for it.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance, I like where this is going.

I installed the english version from b1047 and when I go to upload a photo I get this error.

Fatal error: Class ‘finfo’ not found in /home/lotus/public_html/WESTSIDESPORTS.ORG/wp-content/plugins/simple-photos-contest-ENG/controlers/SimplePhotosContestAdmin.php on line 1008

Any help would be most appreciated. What is working on b1047 is EXACTLY what I need.
