    Hi there,

Thanks for the plugin first of all. After the installation everything is working fine but the log. The download logs says: no items found when I downloaded the files several times. I tried out as well when I wasn’t logged in. Same result.

If you could help me out, I would highly appreciate!
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey,

Sorry to hear that! Can you confirm that loggin is enabled in your Download Monitor settings (Logging tab, first option)?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi

i have the same problem. No log file. Use EBD und CF7. Everything perfect, apart from the missing log from Download monitor. Log file is switched in DM settings.

    Please advice!

    Hey,

We discovered today that ‘Email before download’ is causing this error. Please contact their developer (we didn’t create it) or consider getting one of our form locking extensions like the Gravity Forms extension (https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/gravity-forms/) or the Ninja Forms extension (https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/ninja-forms/).

    Kind Regards,

    Hi barry,

that is interesting, because the log on DM works perfectly fine on another installation with same version of email before download and DM. So ho can then EBD be the problem?

Maybe you have another idea how we can solve it?

    thanks

    Hey Dietmar,

In our tests we’ve done direct downloads via the /download/ID/ URL and these downloads were logged and tests via the EBD plugin and these weren’t. I’m not sure why they’re not being logged but since EBD is handling the download trigger it’s their responsibility to make sure everything works like it should. It’s definitely possible for them to fix this because the logging is working fine with our own locking extensions.

    Kind Regards,
    Barry
