Everything works except "production" test (and all other emailing)

    Hello / Salut ??

    Well on the plugin page everything is green and I know my amazon credentials are good as I use them everyday BUT :
    – the small test email works perfectly no issue
    – the “production” test email doesn’t work
    – any plugin using the wp_mail function doesn’t work either (e.g. contact form 7)

    The “production” test email returns :

    Le message de test a été envoyé.
    Réponse de SES – id NULL

    And obviously SES returning a “NULL id” means it DID NOT send the email…

    Any clue as to what is going on ?

    OK solved, WP SES plugin doesn’t state it but anyone new to amazon SES has to fill in this form here :

    https://aws.amazon.com/ses/fullaccessrequest

    or amazon SES will not proceed anything except the test mailing to the “confirmed” amazon SES email address

    And it seems like it takes a day to get final emailing access from amazon.

    Your plugin should probably state this, so you would get rid of support request like mine…
