• Extreme weirdness. I can do a page search on the back end for every page that begins with “Genre:” then delete them all. But when I go to a genre page on the live website, a new page is created automatically on the backend. Each time any genre page on the live site is clicked on, a new page is created in the backend. You can imagine how many pages are being created.

That is an extremely strange bug you seem to be seeing. Obviously this is something that we have not seen on any of our test sites and it’s the first time anything like it has been reported. I think the most likely cause is that there is that you have some other plugin installed on your site that is not playing nicely with MyBookTable. The way we usually diagnose this is disabling all other plugins and then enabling them one by one until we see the problem, enabling us to pinpoint which other plugin is causing it.

No. I spent part of the weekend trying to track any conflict down and there was none. Besides, the plugins we’re running are all pretty standard ones. If mybooktable is conflicting with one of those, you have another problem entirely.

We didn’t experience the issue until the most recent version – 1.3.4

Sounds to me like a corrupted database. Have you run any database repair tools on your MySQL database?
