I agree that this would be a great option, but however due to the power of the conditional logic that is available, it is also a weakness if one would like to setup a automatic message like that.
I haven’t added such feature within this plugin since there would be many different cases where someone would / wouldn’t want to show the message, which then would need to be added as more features, and only lead to clutter in the plugin.
However, I do have developed another extension that allows you to add messages to your site using the same type of conditional logic. YOu can find that extension here: https://shopplugins.com/plugins/woocommerce-advanced-messages/ (it is a paid extension)
