Evolve Plus, featured images two different sizes

Hello,
Can you please help.
It appears that the settings are the same and the image dimensions are the same too. Why do two images appear differently as featured images. We would prefer the goldenrod dimensions as in https://onnaturemagazine.com/advertise vs https://onnaturemagazine.com/upcoming-issue.
I sized the images to the same dimensions, but one gets enlarged and the other doesn’t. This is confusing can you please help?
