eway payment page freezing

    hi, there

    after updagrade to the lastest verion of woocommerce and eway, i start have issue with the payment, some clients claimed that they have been charged twice or three times, i double check those users they all have one processing order and one fail or cancelled order

    i tried myself it seems work ok in desktop, but in mobile version the page of payment seems freezing without the waiting signal/inicator, but i just keep waiting and the payment gone through

    i suppose those clients wait too long and thought the payment page was not working and then refresh the page.

    any help with that? it’d not happend that offen previously till i updgrade to the lastest version of woocommerce and eway

    I understand that after updating WooCommerce and Eway to latest version, the checkout page is freezing on mobile view.

    Can you provide a link to your checkout page so that we can check?

    Is this happening with all product or specific products?

    Can you check again after switching the site theme to Storefront and disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and Eway? For this task you can use a staging site, WP Staging is a good alternative to help you with that, and you will not have to touch the live site, once it is configured, please create a test order and let us know if the issue persists.

    Upon testing i found the issue, i do not think it has something to do with other plugins

    i tried check out and input the credit details one number wrong on purpose, then the payment will fail, afterward i re-enter using the CORRECT number, it will still said “order received, unortunately your order cannot processed as the originating bank /merhcnat has declined your transaction. please attempt your purchase again”

    The error typically is related to a problem with the customer’s card number. The customer will need to use an alternate credit card, or contact the bank or financial institution.

    I’d suggest enabling the Debug Mode?by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > eWay. Then, try to reproduce the issue on your end, visit the?WooCommerce > Status > Logs page and select the eWay log from the dropdown.

    The logs should provide further details.

    Let us know what you find.

    yes, it was related to customer card number error(I tried to enter wrong card number on purpose), but the issue is that i try using the same card with correct number the card will be charged sucessfully but still woocomerce show NOT sucessful

    As a first step, please enable Debug Mode by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Eway.

    Then, please repeat again the steps you did earlier. Afterwards, head on to WooCommerce > Status > Logs, copy and paste the fatal error logs produced here.

    Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    WC Version: 7.5.0
WC Database Version: 6.5.1

    Checking the System Status Report, I can see that the WooCommerce database does not match the WooCommerce core version. Please update your WooCommerce database by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database.

    Then, please create a test transaction again and see if this resolves the issue?
