    You get that messages when the exec() function has been disabled within PHP, either by you, or system admin, or your webhost.

    Without exec(), EWWW IO cannot optimize images locally. It can still, however, optimize images using our cloud api, if your webhost is unwilling to enable it: https://ewww.io/plans/

    I had the same error, I contacted my hosting provider and changed my php version in cpanel. It works like a charm now
