EWWW png compression settings?

  • I ended up using EWWW but it doesn’t seem to compress the PNG images, though they showup as img/webp in network tab.

    e.g https://www.supernaturals.eu/wp-content/uploads/Supernaturals_10er.png loaded on the site is 163KB and is actually a webp image (according to network tab)
    Original file on the server is 169.9KB

    https://squoosh.app with Effort 4 and 75 Quality makes 58.5 webp image.
    if you check Lossless – 167 KB

    So it seems to use some sort of lossless compression for PNG -> WebP
    Do you know if there is any way to change it?
