Exact and uncomplicated solution to this specific need

  • I needed to add ONE line to the head of ONE page only, and frankly messing with childthemes or custom post types or what not, just for that? – seemed overkill.

    “Per page add to head” allowed me to add

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="120" >

    .. to the head section of my dashboard page, making it refresh automatically every two minutes. Problem solved.

    At the time of writing, the plugin is tagged compatible up to WordPress 4.4, but I’m using it in a WordPress 4.7 enviroment without issues so far.
