    Hey Mikko,

    On this search page: https://petera172.sg-host.com/publications/
I ran a test search on “Data insights on civil justice” as it’s a small publication series of 9 publications.

It comes up with other publications before these 9 come up. We’ve boosted/added more weighting to exact matches, titles and tags but it’s not returning the publications that should appear first. I’m not sure how to fix this!

    Thank you so much.

The exact match bonus works: when you search for “data insights in civil justice”, the correct post comes up first. If you search for “data insights on civil justice”, then it’s lower in the results because the exact match doesn’t trigger because of the wrong preposition.

Looking at individual words, the correct post ranks high for “data,” “insights,” and “civil” but lower for “justice.” That’s enough to rank it lower in the results. You can better understand this from the Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search), where you can see the exact relevance scores for each post.

You can increase the precision of the results by switching to the AND search that requires all search terms to be present in the results.

Just made that change and it seems to have pushed up one to the top but not the others from the same collection!

It seems to me only one post in the series is indexed in the first place. I’d check the others with the Relevanssi debugger (Settings > Relevanssi > Debugging) to if they’re indexed or not.

Interesting, the title seems wrong in the debugging tool. It’s named “Data insights in civil justice: NSW Supreme Court” but in the debugging section it says the title is “civil court data insights justice nsw supreme”. I’ve tried re-indexing, where does it pool this data from? Thank you!

Sorry, just noticed that some were tagged in a category that were in the “exclusion” section!! Been a long day lol, thank you so much

The debugger shows the words in the title in alphabetical order.
