Exactly how do you use the backup file incase you need to perform a restore?

    Hello,

    I haven’t had to use the backups yet, but I noticed there isn’t any clear guides on how to restore the backup file, and since some items are in obscure locations, I wanted to know if there is something I am missing.

    There isn’t an automated restore. The only file in a weird place is the database. Everything is meant to just be copied up to wherever you need to have it installed.

    The /wp-content/ folder, and everything in it, can just be dropped on top of a clean install. The SQL file can be imported into a new database.
