Exactly what a Theme Author needs

This plugin perfectly abstracts away the admin-side of dealing with attachments and let’s you, a theme author, get right to outputting what’s needed and displaying it as you want it without having to deal with template-overrides or a mess of hooks and filters. That does of course mean you’ll need to have a basic understanding of PHP and HTML/CSS (as any theme author should).

It’s coming from a respected developer and book author. I’ve followed him for a long time and trust that he’ll maintain and update the plugin well into the future.
