Exactly what I was looking for

My only major complaint about Gutenberg was not being able to associate arbitrary key-value meta pairs with posts. The more popular Gutenberg Custom Fields, despite the name, really doesn’t replace that functionality, and tries to force you into this weird paradigm of custom fields as blocks, which they aren’t. This plugin, on the other hand, does exactly what I need. Thanks!
