Examples of Sites Using Melos Theme

I am working on a new site using a free version of the Melos theme.

I am having trouble figuring out how best to use the empty space in the left side of the navigation menu. (I was originally thinking about including a clickable “donate” graphic but understand that is not possible with the free version of the theme.)

Has anyone come up with a creative way to use that space that they would please be willing to share? I’d love to see some examples of sites that use the theme.
