    I am trying to get an idea of how I want to build this capability into my site, and would really appreciate some input/suggestions from those who have already done it – or from the developers.

    My site has different components (documents, forums, like/dislike, etc).

    I want to have different categories of badges (or different categories of achievements might be a better explanation)

    i.e.:
    document related: writer level 1,2,3, etc.
    forums: contributor level 1,2,3
    likes: helper, expert, master, etc

    Would I need to create a different point type for each badge category? Then create my different badges per category/levels?

    How have you guys done badges in your social sites?

    Any suggested sites to create badges? or any badge image packs that can be recommended?
