I would like to set up an Excel spreadsheet with API data connection, so I can get orders with a special filter. I would like the spreadsheet to be able to “auto update” through Excel standard functionality. My problem is the pagination, as I only get the first page. Any way to get around this?

  • Hey, @malw!

Thank you for reaching out about setting up an Excel spreadsheet with API data connection to retrieve orders using a special filter. Integrating API data into Excel for auto-updates is a great way to manage and analyze your WooCommerce orders!

Regarding the issue with pagination and retrieving only the first page of orders, the challenge you’re facing is common when working with APIs that paginate results.

One potential solution involves making successive API requests to fetch subsequent pages of orders. However, achieving this directly within Excel’s standard functionality might be a bit intricate, as Excel’s native tools might not directly support paginated API requests.

To work around this limitation, you might consider using custom scripting or programming. Please note that we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy. Still, if you need customization, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources. Based on the feedback we get from our customers we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our Customization page.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a wonderful day!
