    Hi,

When I export orders and then try opening them in Excel I get the error above, regardless if I export as a .xlsx or .csv file.

I had included a custom field but have since removed it and saved settings but I’m still getting the error.

It works on my local machine (using wampserver) both with custom field and without.

See this pastebin for the settings I’m using: https://pastebin.com/MdrEA13A

    Any ideas?

    hi

the settings looks good, thank you for share.
But do you see correct values in “Preview” ?

Could you upload sample file (CSV or Excel) to helpdesk ?

    thanks, Alex

    Hi,

The preview works fine. All values are correct (even when the custom field is included). I have submitted a new ticket to your helpdesk.

    hi

thank you for provided file, but it’s empty ( has zero size).

Could you mark “Enable debug output” ( in section “Misc Settings”) and
    try “Export without progressbar ?

Will you get empty file again ? or will you see any errors?
    thanks, Alex

Tried what you suggested but got another empty file. No errors, just the SQL query which looks fine. I can upload screenshot to your helpdesk if you need it.

    Hi

Doyou have same problem for XML/Json formats too?

I think the plugin can’t create temporary file.

    I’m sorry, but I can’t help you, as it’s local installation(wamp).

    (@k-fella)

I haven’t tried the XML/Json formats because my client doesn’t know how to use those formats.

The problem is not on my local installation but on an actual server. It works locally.

Where does the temp file get created? Maybe the folder permissions need changing?

    hi

sorry, I don’t see my reply posted yesterday.

run phpinfo(), check TMP and TEMP variables.
check permissions for this folder for user who runs Apache.

but I have no experience with Apache for Windows, so my advice can be useless.
    thanks, Alex

Can I reiterate that it’s nothing to do with Windows.

The problem is occurring on a Linux server using Apache version 2.4.33, PHP version 5.6.36 and MySQL version 5.6.39.

    Forget that I mentioned WAMP.

    hi

    I’ve replied to helpdesk ticket.

    thanks, Alex

I tried installing another order export plugin and it was able to produce a working csv file. So I doubt it’s a file/folder permissions issue.

I also tried deactivating your plugin and reactivating it but that didn’t help.

No matter what file type or other settings I choose the file always results in being empty.

Does demo work for you ? log in with username: demo and password:demo

I can’t find this problem without access to staging website.
It can be caching plugin or conflict with another plugin.

    Hi,

The demo you provided works fine.

I do have the Litespeed Cache plugin activated. I can purge all cache and deactivate the plugin and try again if you think that’ll help.

    so it’s not browser issue.

you can do it , but I think we just lose time.

I cleared all the cache and disabled the Litespeed plugin but it didn’t help.

I will continue to try other things.

could you set short date range (1 day for example) and try “export w/o progress”?
it should work correct for small sets.
