Excel formatting lost upon import

I imported data from Excel in the .xlsx format to a tablepress table.

Before import, the data was formatted with commas in the thousands places. In my tablepress table, the commas are gone. e.g. 6,917,673 in excel shows as 6917673 in my table.

Before import, the data in percentage columns were listed as percents with a single decimal place, e.g. 12.7% shows as 0.12695903863349 in my table.

How can I get the data in my tablepress table to format like my excel spreadsheet?
