The Excel Internet Query works great in that the data is inserted beautifully, howeverI need to manually add a new column (in Excel) after the inserted form columns so that I can add a comment alongside each form submission. This works until the data updates and a new entry appears at the top, forcing all of the other entries down one cell. Because the comment has been manually added, it doesn’t track with the submission rows as they move down. It there any way to achieve this, or is this only through the purchasing the Data Editor plugin and adding in some blank columns into the form in the CFDB Extension?

I suggest creating your .iqy file so that you get the earliest submissions at the top of the spreadsheet and new ones come in at the bottom.

Go to the admin page for CFDB -> Short code
    Choose your form
Choose Export File = Excel Internet Query
(make sure WP User & WP Password fields are blank)
Go to “orderby” field, select “Submitted” and click “>>”

Click the link at the top to get a new .iqy file and try it.

Thanks Michael, that seems to work. I did wonder if there was a way to reverse sort the data, and there is was staring me in the face! Thanks so much.
