I’m no developer. I’m a complete noob. So after making my website with one of those themes that are out there, it came out fancy and beautiful, but the loading time was insane. Per average 25 seconds. 45 javascripts and 16 css. Render blocking etc….
I had read reviews or various posts saying that this is the best cache plugin but because of the work that has to be done configuring it, I was hesitant.
So I tried other plugins to optimize my website. All failed, in that I was not getting any improvement. None.
So I decided to give W3 a go. At first, with the auto and default settings, nothing changed. My website was still loading at 25 seconds. After 2 whole days and nights, manually testing each js and css separately, I have now managed to increase significantly all the rankings (gtmetrix, yslow, etc) and have a website that loads at 4-5 seconds, without anything broken.

I know, some will say that 4-5 is still slow, but consider the improvement from 25+ !!

A great plug-in. It is worth the effort!
