EXCELLENT A+

So far, this forum plugin is EXCELLENT!

I had started off with bbPress because I figured it would integrate wonderfully with WordPress & Buddy Press, and that it would work.

Well it “worked” – but any customizations led me down a days long rabbit hole into the codex.

Also, I use Genesis, so getting this to behave, getting URLS / permalinks to be friendly – ugh, I lost hours of my life. Trying to make a sidebar disappear was a fruitless endeavor.

Then I tried a few other forums which required extensive BS registrations at their site, API numbers needed to be pasted back and forth…a cumbersome process as well.

Then comes ASGAROS! Works perfectly out of the box, sees all my users. I can block out non members easily. Behaves, is lightweight and nothing breaks. Whew!

JUST INSTALL IT, you’ll love it.

A few things – the CSS panel is not behaving 100% so I had to use some browser dev tools and do “Additional CSS” in the WordPress appearance pane. No biggie.

And, the CSS does not display right on Mac Safari. Who knows why that is, very well could be Safari’s fault.
