Excellent experience with this free and Pro version

Very easy to install, with lots of configuration options including a broad selection of animation behaviors of popup entrance/exit. Works without requiring use of widgets/widget areas so you don’t have those limitations. (I just installed and tested it on WordPress 4.8).
If you upgrade to Pro version, leave the free version installed since the Pro version depends on it (dependency), therefore it’s fine to do your settings and configuration in the free version, then upgrade if you prefer (that is what I did).
Pro version among other things allows you to choose the location in the browser window where you want the popup to be positioned. Highly recommended plugin; excellent value in relation to price.
