Excellent Search Plug-in. I’m surprised it’s free.

I’ve tried several search plug-ins for WordPress, including some I paid for, but I’ve found Ivory Search to be the best one available. It has a lot of layers to it and many powerful search capabilities, even with the default settings.

I have to be honest, I’m genuinely surprised at how good the free version is. Support is also very helpful, even the free version, which I appreciate. Many plug-in developers won’t talk to you unless you pay for their PRO version but that’s not the case here.

My only wish is that it had an advanced visual editor because I don’t know anything about CSS. It does have a visual editor for styling (colors, text, etc) but I’m fairly useless with code so I would happily pay money for a few additional options (IE. custom placement, sizing, etc).

Definitely recommend.
