Excellent – Straightforward and simple

  • Saw this new plugin and wanted just some quick boilerplate type pages for the terms of use, privacy policy – wasn’t worried about DMCA, but it was a nice addition. Plugin installed smoothly. When installing/uninstalling, be aware plugin DOES add/remove the three pages on its own.

    Did have an issue putting content on a page I already had in there named /privacy-policy (did not overwrite content – which may be good for some users). Had to delete page entirely to get plugin to create/add expected content. As soon as I did, it created all three pages with excellent content.

    One note: on the Terms of Use page, it does identify item 3 Governing Law as a “governed by laws of California..” Not sure how it came up with that, but changed it to North Carolina (as is MY state) in MCE and life fine. Total time from install to operational pages including edit as above? 1 minute (after I figured out the problem with existing page). Nice.

    If not for the California thing, would have given it 5 stars.

    Thanks for the review and the rating, I appreciate it. And thank you for pointing out the issue with the California state name being mentioned. I thought I combed over everything, but I guess I missed a spot.

    I’ll be updating the plugin to fix this issue soon.
