Excellent work

I have been looking for a way migrate a personal photo collection from gallery2, and was looking at the standard alternatives, but not happy with any of them. Having just finished a project in WordPress, I decided to look at gallery plugins. I installed and spent significant time with about 10 of them, and WPPA is the clear and definitive winner from almost every standpoint. It is well designed, both technically and aesthetically, and almost totally configurable. I started playing with it using defaults, and quickly found the settings to meet my minimum requirements. I didn’t think I would use the rest of the plethora of settings, but as I have become more comfortable, I have started to notice little things here and there that I wish I could change–and, to my surprise, I found that I was able to change every one of them. I then made some albums, uploaded my gallery2 photos, and wrote a query to transfer the photo attributes into WPPA from gallery2. Following a simple reindex on the search configuration page, it works beautifully.

I have to say that this is simply brilliant design and programming. Kudos and many thanks to the author!
