Except Length?

  • Maybe I am just doing something stupid and this is easily fixed, but I am having issues with the except part. I have set the settings in the image below…

    But, when the code is entered into the page (currently in draft mode as working on new layout), this is still showing the full except. Like below…

    Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or how to fix it?

    Sorry for not getting back to you sooner!

    Is your post using the “Excerpt” meta box by chance? Or are you using the more tag?
