Exception thrown

    Using the new WP 5.0 with Gutember editor, trying to edit a page with Nextgen code (shortcodes) for showing albums, i get the following error:

    “Exception thrown
    No utilities registered for I_Display_Type_Controller”

    I had to install the classic editor plugin, for being able to edit that page.

    This happens only trying to edit pages.

    Could you share with us the shortcode that you were initially using on that page?
    What version of NextGen Gallery do you have installed?
    We would really want to take a second look.

    Sure no problem.

    I use some album shortcodes and with the help of “the widget shortcode plugin”, I display in the page the latest images in all galleries, and also the ngg search plugin widget.

    This is the actual page code:

    You mentioned that you are currently using NextGen Gallery 3.1.1?
    Our latest version is 3.1.6.
    Could you please try to update and see if that fixed the issue?
