Exception Thrown Error

    We’re using Cyclone Slider 2 and are experiencing an “Exception thrown” error page upon trying to publish, regenerate thumbnails or import image from NextGen Gallery. The full error is:

    Exception thrown
    Attachment ID 165 not found.

    Our entire image library was recently lost and we are in the process of re-importing the images manually to the correct folder. Is this error simply a reference to a particular image or attachment page not existing?

    I’m seeing this error on multiple slideshows, using various images (but same Attachment ID referenced: 165). Curious if anyone has any thoughts?

    I’m not seeing the error today. My guess is that the issue either had to do with permalinks restructuring or missing images in the image library. When I confirmed that each image in the particular gallery existed in the wp-contents/uploads/ directory, the exception error was no longer an issue.

    Hope that was indeed the solution and that it helps someone else.
