Exceptional plug-in, world-class development and support

I can’t afford the premium version of this plugin because I only have small hobby websites… but I can take the time to write a review. I’ve used Wordfence for many years, with few problems. I’ve just received an email (even as a free user) to say my website has experienced 100 attacks in the last 10 minutes.

The plugin is nothing short of exceptional… best of class. Wordfence is an example of one of those companies few people people know about (unless you have a website), and everyone should be trying to emulate – the care they put into developing and maintaining an amazing product, the service they give back to the security community or WordPress plug-in developers (in terms of feedback on security flaws they have), and user support (including those that haven’t paid – getting an appropriate level of support), that the term ‘world-class’ is horribly inadequate. (When I gave one of their support people this feedback of my experience of their company and product, their first response was, they would share that with the rest of the team.)

This is the first plugin I install on any new website and is an essential install on any website you want to protect.
