Exceptions not working with "Not specific provider"

  • Hi,

    I’m setting up a tennis court booking with appointments. I’ve setting up two services providers “Court1” and “Court2”, and using the option “Not Specific Provider” to those people that doesn’t matter what tennis court to use.

    All is working good exept the “Exceptional working days” where if I set “Not Specific Provider” appears to be busy until I change the service provider to “Court1” or “Court2”, then turn to free hours.

    Can you help me with this?

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    This one is actually by design, rather than a bug.

    It’s because a service provider isn’t being forced, you can use the “require_provider” argument on the app_schedule shortcode as following which means a timetable will not be rendered unless a service provider has been previously selected.

    [app_schedule require_provider="1"]

    Currently for exceptions you should use service providers. you can also create a dummy service provider for it.

    There is already a feature request created for this feature on the following thread and this feature may be added in future version of plugin but We don’t publish ETAs to prevent disappointment if a deadline is missed(which in plugin development quite a frequent occurrence!).

    Hi @wpmu DEV, thanks. Actually we’re using the “require_provider” argument as you say, but it would be perfect if the “non specific provider” was working in the exceptions to those people that dont want to choose a specific court in this case.
