Excerpt

Hi! Enjoying the plugin, thanks! When I create a portfolio, there seems to be no option for an excerpt (as there are in new single posts). Subsequently, it means that when I use the portfolio widget to advertise each portfolio project the excerpt text is the title, subttitle etc. not the actual text. How can I change this? I have tried both the classic and block editor, but neither offer the option.
