Excerpt buttons / menu?

I’m looking for a way to use chunks of html in the post excerpts so I’ve installed The Excerpt Reloaded, first issue solved. These chunks of html are quite large and I don’t want to write or copy and paste them every time I make a new post so I’d like to have buttons which target the except textarea and ether paste in the code directly or a shortcut to something like Templatedia’s templates. So what I’m looking for is something like WP-AddQuicktag but for the excerpt – TinyMCE is the closest I’ve found but I’m not interested in having my excerpt textarea as richtext. Has anyone found a plugin which will do this or can you think of a workaround?
