Excerpt ends with a Code? [@hellip;]

    Hi there,

    when publishing an post using
    [POST_TITLE]
    [POST_EXCERPT]
    [POST_LINK]
    [POST_AUTHOR]
    the excerpt (before the link) ends with [@hellip;] the UTF-8 code for the read more dots.

    Does anyone have similar experiences?
    Does this effect somehow relate to Yoast WP SEO the autogenerates the excerpt for the post?
    Is this a issue a problem of the shortage algorithm or LINKEDIN AUTOPUBLISH?

    Hi @miniwi,

    The excerpt field is not really designed for HTML. We expect that just standard text will be put in the excerpt. Have you tried deactivating Yoast, putting in a standard except and seeing if [@hellip;] appears? I suspect it wouldn’t.
