Having enabled the all the Excerpt && shortcode options on the general tab

The rich editor does appear, but no rich text is rendered on the front end in excerpts.

No line breaks, no colored text, no shortcodes, nothing….

This looked like a promising plugin, sadly it doesn’t do the job..

    Hello Bart,

This is probably because of the way “Canvas” outputs the excerpt prior to rendering the page.

They may pass it through a filter which removes any rich text; before outputting to the front end.

Perhaps “Canvas” has an option or hook to allow rich tags in excerpts?

I have no idea if there are filters or hooks to do this.

As Canvas is very widely used Theme it would be great if you could find out how to get this working.

    Thanks, Bart

    Thank you… very much.
I was able to get my hands on a site with it installed.

It’ll be a few hours (I have to run out for a bit)… but I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information.

    Hi Josh!
    Could you find anything?
