Excerpt in Custom Post ignores formatting

The formatting works in the excerpt box itself, but displays in plain text under the slide. Would appreciate a reply. Thanks.

Well, ok. I figured it out. The Rich Text Excerpts plugin works just fine. It was the Showbiz Carousel css that was overlaying the Rich Text code.
