    sorry, i can’t get it.

I created a page with Divi. On this page I would like to display the feed from another page.

The page whose feed I want to display has 3 different categories.

I would like to display these 3 different categories with an excerpt of 250 characters.

I have included 3 different code modules with the following content:

    [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://domain.com/feed?cat=2″ summarylength=”250″]

    [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://domain.com/feed?cat=3″ summarylength=”250″]

    [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://domain.com/feed?cat=4″ summarylength=”250″]

Only the title is displayed no matter what I try, the excerpt is not displayed.

Do I even need the item “Import Posts” and “Feed Categories” in the plugin settings? I’m probably thinking too complicated.

    Kind regards J?rg

    Hi @hai3009,

Thank you for explaining your problem.

You don’t need the Import Posts or categories section for your use case, you’re using Feedzy via shortcode as I see so you’re only displaying cached items, not importing them as posts.

Regarding the summarylength parameter – there seems to be a bug as I tried to test and I can’t control the length of the summary using it either.

I have reported this bug to our development team for investigation.

    Thank you!

    Hi @hai3009,

We checked again and it seems to be working.

    Example shortcode:
    [feedzy-rss feeds="https://domain.com/feed?cat=2 "summary="yes" summarylength="5"]

Please make sure to use correct ” and not ″ next to each parameter.

    I hope it works!

    Hi @hai3009!

Could you please provide us the feed URL so we can test it on our end?

    Hi @hai3009,

It looks like this particular feed doesn’t have items, or at least it doesn’t have them anymore.

I checked the URL you shared on a feed validator, and it seems like this URL is not a valid feed:

    https://www.ams-rae.de/#aktuelles

    however, the following one is:

    https://www.ams-rae.de/feed/

is just that it doesn’t have items; you can check it on this website.

I recommend trying the shortcode shared by my colleague Vytis with another source.

    Regards,
    Stefan
