Excerpt issue

  • Hello

    I am having issues getting the except part to work. Most likely because I don’t how to enable it. If I have text in the main section and the excerpt section it always pulls the main section. What I want to do is pull the excerpts in a certain area then have them link to a page where the full testimonial resides. How can I do this?

    If you are using the widget settings there is a ‘Show as’ field with ‘excerpt’ as an option. When it is checked you can specify a length for your excerpt. A little further down the page there is a ‘Text for Link to Testimonial’ setting that allows you to set the text for the ‘Read More’ button.

    If you are using the shortcode it would look like this:

    [testimonial-rotator id="123" show_size="excerpt" excerpt_length="25" link_text="Read Full Testimonial"]

    Hi Hal, awesome plugin.

    I am having an issue with the shortcode for the excerpt length + link. The “more” link will not show if I decide to use the excerpt, I tried many ways.

    Before I code up custom templates, was wondering if you could perhaps provide any help or guidance, it would be more than appreciated!
