excerpt length

    I’ve been unable to resolve this issue..

    Customizing -> Theme Options -> Blog -> Blog Layout
    (x) Standard

    I choose this layout and the [excerpt length] features fails to function, and the entire post is rendered.

    For Blog Layout options (Grid) and (List), [excerpt length] works as expected.

    With plugins disabled, issue remains.

    I used the [Advanced Excerpt Options] plugin

    Note:
    On the author’s Blogrow demo site, the (x)Standard Blog Layout is selected, and the Excerpt Length feature functions as intended.

    Any takers concerning a solution to this unresolved issue?

    Resolved.

    Operator error. I was under the impression that the excerpt would automatically be applied in the [Standard] layout.

    Numerous solutions available. I chose to manually insert a readme break in each article, rather than installing another plugin or applying code mods.
