Excerpt length overriden when “Read more” tag used in post

  • Hi there,

    I defined an excerpt length for my post list generated by WPSP. But I’m also using the “Read more” tag in my posts. While the latter is really needed for my masonry blog page on my GeneratePress themed website, these excerpts are too long for the page I’m displaying the post list on.

    When using a Read More tag in the post though it does not only override the settings made in WPSP it also lets the styling through. How can I prevent this?
