Excerpt not available for pages? Not just for posts!

    When I create a page, I like the option to set the excerpt, so that I can control how the page appears in internal site search results and child page lists. However, Neve theme doesn’t seem to have a section for this on the page editing screen. Am I just missing it somehow?

    Unfortunately it’s not possible to set an excerpt for a page. The theme doesn’t support this option.

    I just published a plugin to correct this problem. I still think it should be allowed by the theme. But you do as you see fit.
