Excerpt not showing for just one blog post

  • Hi all,

    The excerpt of the top blog post on my blog roll isn’t showing for some reason.
    Even when I fill in a manual excerpt for that post it won’t show.

    It’s the only post that does not show its excerpt — all my other posts are fine so I don’t know what’s going wrong here. It used to be a page and I changed it to a post a while ago, but I did that with a few other pages as well (changing them to post type) and they do show their excerpt.

    Please advise.

    I have seen your post. There is an apostrophe.( DON’T )
    “JOH, DON’T CARE, just let go!”

    I think your theme has custom code for excerpt. You should manage this apostrophe when show excerpt.

    Thanks, but there’s no apostrophe because the word DON’T is not in there – you might have an auto-translate on your browser because it’s written in Dutch.

    Anyway, I got rid of the ” and ” to see if that would make a difference, but sadly it doesn’t.

    Also: I’ve got a manual excerpt that is different from the first lines of the post to test if that comes through, but that doesn’t show either (and it doesn’t contain any strange characters either).

    Any other suggestions pleeeaaaase? It’s driving me nuts ??

    Ok thanks for trying. I hope it’s coding issue. Without debugging it’s difficult to proper solution. I’m sure I can solve it but I need to permission to code level. Thanks
